Today, I participated in a delightful night walk event with my classmates and teachers from the Taijiang Club of Yinghai High School. This event is an annual tradition marking the 10th year of the Youth Night Walk. Although this was not my first time joining, I felt excited and full of energy each time I participated.

We gathered at the school in the morning, divided into groups, and prepared all the necessary supplies for the journey. After ensuring everything was ready, we began our journey from Yinghai High School, with everyone fully prepared. Each group was assigned individual supplies, and we set off.

The first destination was the Bozai Liao Daitian Temple. Here, we paused to discuss the history of the temple. Teachers and students shared fascinating stories, which helped us understand more about the local culture and religion. After hearing these stories, everyone felt invigorated and eager to continue the journey.

The next stop was Jiufenzi Secondary School, where we had the opportunity to learn about education development in this region. Each stop provided us with new knowledge and enriching experiences.

We then took a break for lunch at the Old Street of Anping. At lunchtime, the entire group was divided into four teams to film and introduce traditional local dishes. I was with Group 2, and we filmed a traditional dessert, famous shrimp crackers, and pickled plums. Each group had to introduce their chosen dish, explaining its origins and preparation. After completing the task, the first group received a special reward. We were delighted to complete our task and received compliments from teachers and peers.

Beyond the enjoyable activities, I was especially impressed by the character of the Yinghai students. They are truly well-behaved and endearing. The students here are full of energy and unity, always ready to support one another throughout the journey. I observed how much they cared for and supported each other, which touched me. Whenever someone encountered difficulty, the others were quick to lend a helping hand without hesitation. Moreover, their organizational skills were commendable. All the activities ran smoothly, and everyone took responsibility, working in perfect coordination from preparation to the end of the trip.

After lunch and a brief rest, we continued our journey to the Tak Kee & Co. Company. Here, we learned about the growth of foreign companies in Anping, one of the regions known for its dynamic trade sector. This was also an opportunity to gain insight into the interaction between different cultures and economies.

Our next stop was the Sunset Viewing Tower. This was one of the most anticipated stops on the journey. We sat to watch the sunset, enjoying the breathtaking view and discussing the importance of protecting nature. The serene natural scenery and the peaceful atmosphere made me feel calm and rejuvenated.

Finally, we arrived at the Luermen Tianhou Temple, the last stop of our journey. Here, we listened to stories about the local beliefs, religion, and the temple’s history. The students’ presentations were impressive and helped me better understand the spiritual culture of the region.

Throughout the trip, I learned much about the history, culture, and customs of the places we visited. The students’ presentations made me realize the importance of preserving and promoting traditional cultural values. At the same time, I also observed the spirit of unity and camaraderie among the Yinghai students throughout the journey. They always supported each other, shared knowledge, and explored various points of interest together. This is something that dprofoundlyimpressed and touched me. Each group had its own tasks, but everyone shared the common goal of learning about and exploring the landmarks’ beauty and gaining a deeper understanding of the local history and culture.

I particularly noticed everyone’s enthusiasm and participatory spirit during the trip. Despite the long journey and the occasional fatigue, everyone remained full of energy and eager to learn. The students were participants and leaders, sharing their knowledge and assisting others along the way.

After a long day of many activities, we returned to Yinghai High School, which was the end of our journey. Though tired, everyone felt happy and satisfied with what we had experienced. This was a wonderful experience, expanding my knowledge and creating unforgettable memories with my friends and teachers.

The night walk was a physical activity and an opportunity to learn about the history, culture, and nature surrounding us. I am grateful to have participated in this event and hope to have more opportunities to explore new things.

I express my sincere gratitude for the opportunity to participate in the JOURNAL OF THE NIGHT WALK ACTIVITY OF THE TAIJIANG CLUB. It was an invaluable experience that allowed me to learn and grow, and I will always cherish the memories made during the event. Thank you for your constant support and guidance throughout the journey.

Sincerely.
