On the morning of October 8, 2021, Nguyen Tat Thanh University cooperated with the Student Culture House of Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern National Startup Support Advisory Council held the final round of the contest “Students with innovative startup ideas 2021” in an online form. This year’s contest, despite the objective effects due to the Covid-19 epidemic, but the contest has received a lot of attention and response from students, including students of the Faculty of Business Administration.
The contest “Students with creative startup ideas 2021” is the school’s annual program to find and honor excellent authors and startup projects. The contest attracted 50 projects from 17 universities and colleges across the country that were eligible for the preliminary round. In the preliminary round, the Faculty of Business Administration had up to 5 ideas to participate in the Contest.
After 3 rounds of high screening, the organizers found 12 best teams present in the final round. Those are creative, scientific ideas; have strategies and plans for development; has commercial potential; the author proves the financial efficiency; solve social and environmental problems.

More proudly, Student Son Hoang Hieu, class 19DQT1B – Representative of Faculty of Business Administration – Idea Competition Team: “Research on production of banana silk fabric instead of Industrial fabric”, helped name the Faculty of Business Administration to win the third prize in the final round. . As the Deputy Production Director of the Project, Student Son Hoang Hieu worked with friends in the team to build this project under the guidance of Th. S. Truong Thi Cam Len – Lecturer of Faculty of Business Administration, Chairman of NTTU Startup Club; Mr. Hoang Son Cong – Director of Center for KN and Industry Transfer of Retail Industry in Vietnam; Th. S Nguyen Le Kha – CEO of Sigma Investment Consulting Joint Stock Company, P. Chairman of IPO-Shub Entrepreneur Club. Carrying out a thoughtful and practical project under the guidance of Entrepreneurs and experts, the Students had a very valuable learning and practice experience. The playground has brought students knowledge, learning from Entrepreneurs and Teachers, learning from competition teams and being able to carry out a project that has both business and social meaning – instead of industrial fabric – contribute to environmental protection.

The contest is a healthy academic playground, in order to promote the spirit of innovation in life as well as in learning and scientific research of students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University in particular and students of the whole country in general. As an incubator of business ideas, young creativity as a foundation for startups, it is also a place to respond to the National Start-up movement, all of which will bring many interesting stories, useful training lessons as well as This is an opportunity for students to express their love for their passion for entrepreneurship, and at the same time, this is also a place for students to learn, demonstrate their presentation skills, make detailed financial plans, build Media videos, impressive posters from which to increase the feasibility, novelty and creativity of projects and call for investment and realize their ideas.
