The Employer Conquering Skills program – improving job opportunities for students

NTTU –  on the morning of March 30th, 2019, the Department of Enterprise Relations and Students Job Affairs has cooperated with the Enterprise Club of Nguyen Tat Thanh University to organize the program on “The Employer Conquering Skills” participated by many students and lecturers.

Attending the program, on the part of the guests, there are two main Speakers: Expert Le Duc Thuan – Senior Consultant of Connecting Talents JSC; Expert Nguyen Viet Kiem – Founder and Director of the Executive Recruitment Company. Besides, there are also representatives coming from nearly 30 businesses in the city to join the program. On the part of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, there are: Senior Lecturers – PhD. Nguyen Thanh Hoi, Vice Principal and also Head of Law – Administration Department; MSc. Nguyen Thanh Phuong – Head of the Department of Enterprise Relations and Students Job Affairs and all lecturers who are heads and deputy heads of departments, offices, centers and especially the participation of nearly 300 students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University.

Employer Conquering Skills is a forum where employers could exchange with students on necessary skills when applying for jobs such as CV writing skills, job searching skills … two main speakers are also representatives of two businesses. From the perspective of employers, they have given students situations and problem solutions, then help students to have a better overview on employer conquering skills. In addition, students also found opportunities to seek jobs for themselves, directly meet employers, and understand employer’s psychologies as well as procedures in the recruitment process.

During the program, many questions for two speakers were asked by the students such as the recruitment issues of current businesses in Vietnam; how to create an attractive impression in the eyes of employers? … At the end of the program, students are allowed to participate in direct recruitment booths, seeking for suitable jobs for themselves.
