
NTTU – On the morning of September 5th, Nguyen Tat Thanh University successfully organized a scientific conference on the theme “Human Resource Management and Development in the Digital Age”. The conference attracted a large number of researchers, experts, lecturers, trainees, and students from the Faculty of Business Administration.
Representing the Faculty of Business Administration were Dr. Bui Van Thoi – Vice Dean, and Dr. Nguyen Giang Do – Vice Dean, Secretary of the Scientific Council. Representing the Faculty’s Scientific Council were Dr. Phan Ngoc Thanh – Chairman; other members, faculty members, researchers, experts, and students.

In the context of the country’s strong adoption of digital transformation, artificial intelligence (AI) and big data in many fields, these tools not only support but have become essential factors in creating practical value and meeting societal needs. Therefore, digital capabilities, adaptability skills, knowledge management, and technology-oriented leadership are increasingly being researched and effectively applied.
This conference brings together diverse research papers and perspectives from lecturers, researchers, graduate students, and undergraduates – the high-quality workforce of the future. This is a highlight, creating an environment for in-depth and highly applicable academic sharing.
Three key papers were presented:
- Analysis of Human Resource Development Research Trends– Ms. Tran Hoang Cam Tu, Acting Head of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department. This presentation provides an overview of human resource trends, emphasizing the shift towards digital competencies and soft skills to meet the new demands of the market.
- International Experience: Managing Tax Human Resources in the Digital Age – Implications for Vietnam– Dr. Au Thi Nguyet Lien and Dr. Truong Thi Huong Xuan. This report shares international experiences, particularly in human resource management in the tax sector, and suggests solutions suitable for Vietnam.
- Building Digital Trust in the Big Data Era: A Multi-Level Framework for Developing Digital Trust– by Vo Huynh Quang Hieu and Ms. Nguyen Thi Sang. This presentation addresses a key issue in human resource management in a big data environment: digital trust, opening up a multi-level development framework and strengthening a sustainable foundation for human resource management in the digital age.

During the workshop, the speakers presented research papers on their topics.

Students have the opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions, and listen to insights from teachers and experts.
The atmosphere at the workshop was lively and open.
At the conclusion of the workshop, experts, researchers, lecturers, and students had the opportunity to access in-depth knowledge about digital transformation trends in human resource management and development. The workshop also created an open academic forum for receiving the latest research.
The program’s success demonstrates the Faculty’s efforts in creating academic forums for faculty and students, and reflects the University’s vision of keeping pace with the digital age, improving the quality of training and research, and contributing to the development of high-quality human resources for society.
