Regular activity: “Graduation Internship, Career Orientation & Development Opportunities” for Class of 2022 students majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

On August 29, 2025, the Faculty of Business Administration – Nguyen Tat Thanh University successfully organized a pre-internship orientation and sharing session for final-year students majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The program was attended by the faculty leadership, department heads, supervising lecturers, and a large number of students majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Bui Van Thoi – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Business Administration – emphasized the importance of internships in the training process. He encouraged students to maintain a proactive and inquisitive attitude, not be afraid of difficulties, and always demonstrate professionalism – essential qualities to prepare them for the real-world work environment.

Continuing the program, Mr. Can Hoang Nguyen Khanh, a visiting lecturer in logistics and supply chain management, shared essential soft skills for modern businesses such as effective communication and presentation, professional work mindset, sense of responsibility, and teamwork ability. These practical insights helped students understand that, in addition to professional knowledge, attitude and skills are crucial for adaptability and career development in the industry.

In the academic orientation session, Ms. Tran Hoang Cam Tu, Head of Department, guided students on how to complete their graduation thesis: from topic selection, data collection and analysis, to report presentation. Notably, from 2025 onwards, students will be able to complete their graduation thesis in groups – thereby developing teamwork skills, supporting each other in research, simulating a real-world work environment, and improving learning efficiency.

Continuing the program, Ms. Vu Nhat Phuong shared specific tips on how to write an internship report, emphasizing practicality, the ability to connect theory with practice in the enterprise, and requirements regarding structure, presentation, and academic citations.

A highlight of the session was the interaction between students and lecturers, where students could ask questions and share their concerns about internships, topic selection, report planning, etc. Lecturers not only provided professional guidance but also shared practical experiences and inspiration with students before they embarked on their important internships.

This program is a meaningful activity, contributing to equipping students with comprehensive skills before entering the business environment. At the same time, it demonstrates the Faculty of Business Administration’s training philosophy: linking theory with practice, developing expertise, skills, and attitudes, and focusing on the practical needs of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management industry in the era of integration.
