NTTU – On November 2nd, 2025, in Quebec City (Canada), the Vietnamese delegation, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the International Cooperation Department, Ministry of Education and Training, officially participated in the Canada International Conference 2025 organized by the Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE). Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong, Vice Rector of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, also attended this important event.

The CBIE conference is recognized as Canada’s leading international education event, bringing together over 1,300 delegates (international education experts, educational institution leaders, government representatives) from more than 50 countries with a program including over 75 sessions, 60 exhibitors, and presentations from leaders worldwide.
The CBIE2025 conference opened on November 2nd, 2025, with the “International Partnership Day” event. This is a special event dedicated to networking and interaction between organizations, with thematic sessions organized by country. Within the framework of this event, the Vietnamese delegation will participate in and present at the Vietnam Country Spotlight Session, showcasing the potential and opportunities for academic cooperation between Vietnam and Canada. The conference will also provide dedicated spaces to support in-depth discussions, facilitating the establishment and expansion of partnerships with Canadian counterparts. Furthermore, on the first day, the Vietnamese delegation held a meeting and discussion with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Education.

Nguyen Tat Thanh University’s participation in this event is not only a significant milestone but also an opportunity for the university to expand its international relations, especially with educational institutions in Canada – which is a key focus in its international cooperation and academic exchange strategy. Through participation, the university affirms its position and global orientation in training and research, while also gathering valuable information on international education trends, new cooperation models, and scholarship and student exchange opportunities.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Lan Phuong stated: “CBIE is not only a forum for sharing experiences but also a place that opens doors to new collaborations. We are participating in this event with the hope that the University will access global educational trends, while also demonstrating a strong commitment to improving the quality of training, research, and human development according to international standards.”
As one of the pioneering institutions in educational innovation and promoting international training cooperation, Nguyen Tat Thanh University has actively established cooperative relationships with many international partners over the years. The university has built cooperative relationships with hundreds of universities, research institutes, and international organizations in more than 20 countries such as the USA, UK, France, Germany, Japan, Poland, South Korea, etc., with over 250 memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements.
To date, the University has welcomed hundreds of international students from countries such as Taiwan, South Korea, Laos, Cambodia, Ukraine, the Philippines, and has implemented numerous faculty and student exchange programs. The University has also successfully organized many international conferences, attracting educators, leaders, and scholars from universities around the world, including the UK, France, Germany, the USA, South Korea, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Poland.
On the other hand, the School receives guidance from many leading professors from renowned universities and academies, many of whom currently serve as honorary professors. Furthermore, the School has participated in over 10 international projects funded by sources such as Erasmus+ and the British Council, helping to enhance the capacity of its staff and utilize funding for equipment and facilities.
