Scientific Conference “Adaptive trends for sustainable business development in the period of Covid 19”

On April 16, 2021, Faculty of Business Administration, Nguyen Tat Thanh University successfully organized a Marketing Science Seminar with the theme: “Adaptive trends for sustainable business development in the period of Covid 19”. This is a seminar with topical topics, highly practical application, which has attracted the interest and participation of scientists, researchers, experts, lecturers of Faculty of Business Administration, lecturers of entrepreneurs and Business Leaders, especially the attendance of Master Students majoring in Business Administration, Students of Faculty of Business Administration studying at Nguyen Tat Thanh School.

The conference proceedings include 18 quality scientific research papers focusing on business activities, management, marketing, logistics, etc. of enterprises in the Covid period, from which, the studies also offer specific solutions applied in the context to help businesses overcome the crisis and develop sustainably. Among the studies, there is a study conducted by MSc teacher Dang Thi Nga and a study conducted by a student of the Faculty of Business Administration Nguyen Hoai Linh under the guidance of MSc Nguyen Giang Do. The seminar also attracted a lot of Master Students, Students of the Faculty of Business Administration to attend, showing their interest in Scientific research activities as well as the attractiveness of the Conference.

In the opening speech, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Nhi – Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration emphasized the urgency of the seminar’s topic and suggested lecturers, scientists, researchers, experts… to focus on analyzing and discussing discussions to propose solutions to business problems in the Covid period. This is an urgent issue, focusing on scholarly research, as a foundation for practical application, bringing a lot of value to the economy and society.

On behalf of the Science and Training Council of the Faculty of Business Administration and the Organizing Committee of the Conference, Dr. Phan Ngoc Thanh, Chairman of the Council of Planning and Investment, introduced the preface to the conference proceedings and gave an overview of the articles in terms of structure and methods. Research methods, data, citations, scientific and managerial implications are stated by the authors in each article.

There were three selected papers presented at the conference, topics focused on solving sustainable development issues, focusing on innovation, creativity, and change: customers, governance activities, marketing… in the context of Covid-19. Scientists, researchers, experts … together give arguments, theoretical and practical perspectives, helping to complete and clarify the research problem in the topic. Specifically, the research presented and discussed at the conference is as follows:

At the end of the presentation, there is a discussion of scientists, researchers, experts, teachers, business teachers, enterprises, students and students on the topics. The conference proceedings were released with many scientific articles, pointing out (1) the problems faced by businesses during the Covid period, (2) solutions to help businesses overcome the crisis during the Covid-19 period. and towards sustainable development. The seminar also gave scientific arguments to help businesses see the effort to change, restructure and streamline the management apparatus, apply technology, and seize development opportunities in the Covid period. -19. The conference ended successfully. The topic “Adaptive trends for sustainable business development in the period of Covid 19” has helped improve research capacity and for lecturers, graduate students and students of the Faculty of Business Administration, and research results. The research also provides business judgments, helping businesses get an overview of the issues to be identified during the Covid period and set out directions for management, marketing, logistics… during the epidemic period.
