On October 17, 2025, the final round of the first Research with Impact Cup \u2013 RICUP 2025 officially took place at the University of Economics and Finance Ho Chi Minh City (UEF), attracting widespread attention from the academic community and research-loving students. After more than eight months of launching the competition, out of 45 registered projects from many universities, only the 10 best projects were selected to advance to the final round. It is a source of pride that Nguyen Tat Thanh University had two projects honored, clearly demonstrating its serious academic spirit, scientific approach, and creative spirit for the community.<\/strong><\/p>\n The research project “Factors Determining the Development of Ecosystem Services: A Case Study of Tao Dan Park, Ho Chi Minh City,” conducted by students Khuat Hong Truc Vy and Nguyen Van An from the NIIE International Training Institute, under the professional guidance of PhD candidate Tran Thanh (Institute of Interdisciplinary Sciences), excellently won the “Outstanding Research on Digital Transformation for Community Service” award.<\/p>\n This study not only analyzes the relationship between community awareness and the value of ecosystem services in urban environments but also proposes solutions for integrating digital technology into green space management, aiming towards a smart park model. Notably, the research was published in a specialized English-language scientific journal titled \u201cEvaluating the Role of Community Awareness in the Development of Ecosystem Services at Tao Dan Park\u201d in the Journal of Environment (ISSN 2615-9597) \u2013 a remarkable step forward in the student’s research journey.<\/p>\n Students Khuat Hong Truc Vy and Nguyen Van An received the award for “Outstanding Research on Digital Transformation, Serving the Community”.<\/em><\/p>\n In addition, the research topic “Exploring the Compensatory Mindset: How Green Beliefs Mediate and Moderate Fast Fashion Consumption in Generation Z,” by students Vo Ngoc Tuong Vy and Luong Dieu Linh, under the guidance of MBA. Vo Vuong Bach (Faculty of Business Administration), successfully impressed the Scientific Council and won the “Outstanding Research on Green and Sustainable Impact” award.<\/p>\n This study delves into the fast fashion consumption behavior of Generation Z, analyzing how green beliefs can act as a mediator and regulator of consumer trends \u2013 a fresh and humane approach in an era where fashion and the environment are two sides of the same coin. Beyond its academic significance, this work sends a powerful message: Gen Z can consume intelligently \u2013 and still be fashionable \u2013 if they have access to the right information and green inspiration.<\/p>\n Students Vo Ngoc Tuong Vy and Luong Dieu Linh presented their topic.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n The RICUP 2025 Judging Panel worked diligently based on a rigorous system of criteria, comprehensively evaluating everything from the purpose, scientific significance, creativity, practical application, to research methodology and presentation style. Each project was considered a valuable “academic product,” reflecting a professional work ethic, independent research capabilities, and potential contribution to the community. The fact that NTTU students not only won high awards but also had their scientific publications recognized affirms the correct direction the university is pursuing in promoting student research and academic development linked to social action.<\/p>\n Winning at RICUP 2025 is not only a personal achievement for the students and their supervising lecturers, but also a shared pride for the entire Nguyen Tat Thanh University.
